Tony Gregory
"I never feel more human than when I'm fighting monsters."
Tony Gregory actually came to be a part of The Anime Band during a civil lawsuit over music he was creating sounding like he was already writing and performing anime music. We attempted to issue a cease and desist order over his original music, but it turns out they were original songs. Once we got the news, we promptly apologized for the confusion, and honestly, he just seemed kind of bummed. After all was said and done, we decided to invite him to be a part of the band, and well, here we are.
Outside of The Anime Band, Tony is the songwriter and frontman behind post-hardcore band, Space Weather. Tony spent years as a guitarist in metalcore acts local to the Pittsburgh area before starting Space Weather as his own project, and eventually forming a group of musicians to join him in this venture. Aside from his role as one of our featured vocalists, Tony actually offers us as band a myriad of his other skills from guitars to keys, to general knowledge of all things music and has become a driving force in the production and sound of The Anime Band. He also owns the world record for largest "Naruto Run" circle pit to have ever taken place. Everything he touches is better because he touched it. In case you couldn't already tell, we're pretty lucky.
